Ann Coulter:
The Loss That Keeps On Giving!
November 17, 2004

(bold font mine - not so bold, Ann's )

As we wait... stupid... crude insults.
Thi...inconsistent... illegitimate president...too dumb.... How stupid..
Using classical...can't fathom...axiomatically assume.... How...stupid... selfish...?
It...false consciousness...Bush...illiterate homophobe...fear...

Only thing classical here is name calling with a lust for being cute.

...At least there's some documentation on the Virgin Birth story.

Guess Annie means that book that also contains the fairy tale of a human body living for 900 years!

For people who believe so fervently in evolution, these Bush mandate- deniers sure are resistant to it on a personal level.

And bible thumpers do not "believe so fervently"? (We really did not know Bush had man dates.)

Finally – a jihad liberals oppose!

Wills and Maureen Dowd speak for themselves - what they were saying, that NeoCon Ann C. missed was the similarity of Bush's "crusade" and a "jihad".
Yes...all the world heard George Bush slip his tongue and use the word "crusade".

...I think the one thing we can all agree on is that there is definitely a "mandate" against gay marriage.

Wrong. We could all be winners here if homophobes stopped shuddering long enough to understand it was our government that got into the marriage business when this was made a legal matter and it was for the purpose of protecting property. The argument would go away if the government ONLY performed civil unions - let marriages be a matter of churches that claim sanctity of marriages.

In fact, a clear majority of us are uncomfortable with the word "mandate" because it sounds like Wayne asking Stephen out for dinner and a movie.

hahaha...why the "uncomfortable" - do you plan on being a peeping tom?

(Now you understand how the myth of McCarthyism began, red states!)

You are not old enough to have live thru this, I am,  IT WAS NO MYTH AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SUFFERED FROM IT!

One depressed Kerry voter committed suicide at Ground Zero.

Not unlike the monks that set themselves on fire in a public square to protest the mass killing of their brothers...IT WAS THE WAR AND THE CONTINUED KILLING that so depressed this "one".

Meanwhile, the entire Democratic Party is also contemplating political suicide by making Howard Dean its next chairman.

NO - to say "entire" is the birth of racism. It would be no different than me saying all Republicans are NeoCons.

Some Democrats are so despondent they've contemplated (hushed whisper) prayer. They're just not sure if they're supposed to pray to Bill Clinton or to their "Higher Power."

Either choice would be more viable than praying to The Money God.

The day after the election, documentary filmmaker and Upper West Side denizen Mitch Wood told the New York Times: "Watching my kids this morning, going down the street, flicking things in the air, jumping around, I wondered, are they going to have that sense of freedom that I had growing up?"

The rest of the sentence is "or will they be so burdened with their parents leaving them to pay the bill for today's opulent industrial/military complex?"

As if on cue, a commercial jetliner piloted by Islamofascist hijackers did NOT crash in front of Wood at this point, killing his entire family instantly, in silent testimony to the national security we currently enjoy under President Bush. Wood gave no indication of noticing this.

Meanwhile we try to hide from our eyes the thousands of families that are now homeless in Fallujah and shoot the wounded and torture the captured (flying them by Air Stream to countries that can hide the torture) and the uncounted dead lying under the rubble of their homes we bombed.

A teacher on the Upper West Side, Ireena Gurvich, said, "I'm thinking of leaving the country." Gurvich said she wanted to go to Canada because, "it's a kinder and gentler United States." And yet you still ask why our children cannot read or write.

We know why our children cannot read - when Bush's head of education "mandates" testing - we're back to that old "garbage in garbage out" - it's the "grade received" and not the learning that becomes the measure.

Another denizen of the Upper West Side, Patty Fondrie, said: "If it gets bad, we'll go to France," where she will probably be murdered by Muslims.

And the last "terrorist" attack in France was?

Michael Conway, an administrator at United Talent Agency in Beverly Hills, Calif., was quoted in the Times worrying, "What's going to happen, some kind of blacklist?" – suggesting an entirely new, if somewhat scatological connotation, to the term "A-list."

No suggestion - it was what happened in the 1950's, the 1960's and is being repeated in the 2000's - only the "my country, right or wrongdoers" would call this fear "scatological".

I think we have a long way to go from Michael Moore being an honored guest at the Democratic National Convention to a "blacklist"

And you think this way because? I'm guessing - you've never been on a blacklist for YOUR free speech and right to assemble.

Michael Moore for president 2008!

–- except for actors who believe abortion and gay marriage are "wrong."

Like Arnold Schwartzenneger the hormone king and Ronald Reagan who let Ollie North be the fall guy when he (Reagan) was trading hostages for guns and paying for them with drug money.

But here's hoping.

Here's something worth hoping for - all US politicians, Democrat and Republican, that have become millionaires and/or billionaires lining their coffers with tax dollars, will have that eureka moment that transforms them into true compassionate humans.

and lastly, why do "compassionate conservatives" conserve their compassion?
and who fired the first bullet in Fallujah?
