Appeasement 101

Appeasement 401
101
Appeasement in the 1930s was popular with the Europe 401
World War I and weary. The German people were mostly in poverty because
there were no jobs. Hitler came into power as a champion of the
down-trodden. Hitler, Like Stalin, was seduced by power and sought
absolute power (not unlike the Devil on the Mount tempting Jesus). The
German army was trained to "follow orders" and we the people of the
world got World War II. We the people, thru our elected servants
demanded "NEVER AGAIN!" There were enough true statesmen to enact
International laws, including the Non Prolifferation Treaty and
International responsibility to stop genocide on ANY people. In New York City, on May 11, 1995,
more than 170 countries decided to extend the Treaty indefinitely and
without conditions. Three states - India, Pakistan,
and Israel
- have declined to sign the treaty. India and Pakistan are confirmed
nuclear powers, and Israel is widely believed to possess nuclear
weapons. IRAN was one of the 170. 101 Today, the 50-year Cold War is over 401 Today, we know, the Cold War was only cold for the Russians and the Americans. For most Indigenous Countries is was a Hot War filled with secret government activities. i.e. The Iran/Contra Scandal. Test questions: 1) What secret government activities and executive powers are being debated today? 2) List at least 10 countries where Indigenous people experience a Hot War during the Cold War? 101 Europe is at last free of burdensome military expenditure and the threat of global annihilation. 401 No country is free now from the burdensome military expenditures and the threat of global annihilation. (not densome to war profiteers). 101 Like Osama Bin Laden, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad senses a certain weariness in much of the West as it counts on perpetual peace. 401 Like Rush Limbaugh, Evangelicans count on rapture. Perpetual Peace is not a reasonable human goal. Nonviolent Conflict Resolution is. The birth of monothiesm with Abraham and all ensuing prophets was not for the purpose of fighting over who's belief in a monothiestic god wat the true "one". When we look at the similarities between Muslims, Christians, Jews we find they all teach "Do unto your neighbor what you would have done unto you," - or, "What goes around comes around." 1984 is alive and well.
The 3rd
Commandment "Thou shalt have no other gods before me", was used to
support the belief of monothiesm. With the birth of
literacy, the
populas could read for themselves, the Creator of these commanddments
used the plural form of God - GODS. At least they allowed their ARE
other Gods, they only wanted their followers to accept Abraham's god as

dictionary circa 1976 - nothing between "go" and "gone" Merriam - Webster on

God?* 101 Ahmadinejad not only promises to
liquidate the Jews but reveals
his method in advance by seeking nuclear weapons. 401 When daddy is
holding a belt in his hand menancingly; will his son learn to fear him
or love him? When
grown ups hold nuclear weapons, have used them, and threaten to build
more powerful ones, even in outer space, is it logical to believe
Ahmadinejad would not consider it his human right to follow suit? Test questions: 1) If we truly are Homo
Sapien, would a rational mind believe bombing the peoples of Iran and
not create more deadly enemies, expotentially? 2) How many terrorists
did the US bombing of Iraq create? 3) If/when the US pulls it's troops
out of Iraq will the US maintain control of their oil resources via
elected officials when all the polls were "protected" at gun point? 101 The
moral high ground...refer both the
Iraqi and Iranian problems to the United Nations. But considering the
oil-for-food scandals and Saddam's constant violations of U.N.
resolutions, it is unlikely that the Iranian theocracy has much fear
that the Security Council will thwart its uranium enrichment. 401 Ahmadinejad understands all
the options open to preventing Iran from following suit with America
and Israel by also disregarding The Non Polliferation Treaty. Test question: If the Burning Bush
decides to go to war with Iran will it be called Cheney's War? 101 But deja vu pertains not just to us,
but our enemies as well. 401 When
history repeats itself and does not feel like deja vu it is called: Not
learning from historical mistakes. 101 Islamists feed off victimization —
not just recent defeats, but
centuries-old bitterness at the rise of the West. Their version of the
stab-in-the-back Versailles Treaty is always the creation of Israel. 401 The
state of Israel was created after World War II, 1948, by forcing
Palestinians off of their land. Israelis have lived in fear for 58
years at great cost of lives and weaponery. Test question: Consider only the military budget of Israel for 58 years. How
much
land could they have purchased instead of the policy "Push them off
their land or kill them." 101
Anti-Semitism, of course, is the mother's milk of fascism. 401 Demonizing the enemy is how
countries get willing fodder for their wars. Merriam-Webster, circa
1976,
definition of Semite: A member of any group of peoples of southwesternn
Asia chiefly represented now by Jews and Arabs. Mirriam-Webster, online
2006:1 a : a member of any of a number of peoples
of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians,
Hebrews, and Arabs b : a descendant of these peoples Test question: If anti-Semitism is the
"mother's milk of fascism, do both Arabs and Jews qualify? 101 The point of the comparison is not
to suggest that history simply
repeats itself 401 When history "simply repeats itself"
is it called "Doing the same thing and expecting different results? Reading
