Into the Blue Samsara | Poem

into the blue samsara

i fixed the toilet lever
when the chain came off
my hand stained blue
in the sanitized water
so i spent the day with a blue hand
like a prop
but i acted
so now i'm an actor
called the pharmacy
got short with the clerk
when she said the script wasn't ready
now she's a reactor
so it goes
the elusive sense of finality illusive
you know it's all fake
you've seen the spin and the western front store
dead Germans on the eastern front
met an anarchist at the bar
who spoke of using reality television
to stage a real assassination
simply con a drunk into acting
on his latent rage
this is something to do
he said and you thought
above the background noise and clutter
that the props don't matter
it's how you act on what you feel
as you sail
into the blue samsara
