Out of money? Sell your daughter

Whatever else you wish to tirade about regarding the Taliban were they not in fact burning poppy fields? Selling daughters is as old as the white man's dowry. How old is it in Jalalabad? Daughters are being bought and sold south of the US border and how many children are being kidnapped and sold and to whom?
I agree - evil is evil and there are lesser evils and greater evils and the greatest evil is what kind of world we leave for our children and we all should be red in the face with embarassment at the status quo we elders have created. Now is not a good time to vilify those we perceive as our enemy guess what - the enemy is the extremists in all major religions.
Pat Robertson this morning was licking his lips reporting the millions of Christians around the world but even he said we must curtail our oil appetite!
Is not now a good time for religions to sit down with one another and figure out what you can agree upon as a good way to treat a neighbor instead of argue about our differences - the one thing all major religions decree:
Do unto your neighbor what you would have them do unto you.Yes there are extremists in Muslim, Christian and Jewish religions that seek to bring about end times. They are the threat to perpetual war. Pat Robertson would be happy with a theocracy and he ran for president. Joseph Good said "Jews know what they must do they must either kill the Arabs or push them out" (of what they claim as their land boundaries of Israel).
All three religions have the warning of false prophets. It is at our peril not understanding there have been false prophets since the beginning of all of these religions. How many true prophets must be sacrificed (like St. Stephen and Jesus) before the wheat is separated from the shaft?
