Some girl soldiers just wanna have fun
by Kathleen Parker
rebutted by Edy Lou Benjamin

Those same girls want to be powdered and pampered while the boys do the grunt work causing them to die much earlier than women.

"...Pvt. Judy Benjamin, who discovered the Army wasn't what she'd had in mind when she signed up for travel and adventure."

As did 99.9% of the military now serving, when you throw in education expectations.

"...we know that women soldiers are just like men soldiers. Or so we're supposed to believe."

No we do not know! All men soldiers are not alike and neither all all women soldiers.

"..two blondes gleefully applying makeup....Rarely has anyone enjoyed the feminine joys of lipstick and mascara with such unabashed relish."

Is Kathleen blonde? Does she wear makeup? Want a man to do for her what she could do for herself?

"If these two were what the U.S. Army considers soldiers, we're in trouble. The gals probably would agree."

We are in trouble indeed, but not because girls like to giggle and wear makeup, we are in deep trouble because of the lack of morality when we pit sexual behavior against war presidents and their knee jerk followers.

"As long as men and women are seen as interchangeable, then feminist theory survives..."

Feminist theory explained: The June Cleaver lives of women were killing the men and women were denied their potential. In the Army, the problem is too many Benjamins join for the lark of it.

"The point is not that women don't belong in the military..."

Someone's sleeping, lord, kumbaya
Someone's sleeping, lord, kumbaya
Oh lord, kumbaya
Oh lord, kumbaya
