\nfor cancer while
\nthey reloaded their repeaters with
\nneutron seekers that leave buildings
\nstanding.<\/p>\n
It takes a blink to kill a thousand,
\na millennium to cure a single disease.<\/p>\n
It takes an army to decimate
\nand decades to recreate the
\ndamage done so quickly by boots
\ntrod upon the careless plains.<\/p>\n
It takes night and day to reject
\neach hypothesis that does not measure
\nagainst the truth.<\/p>\n
It takes weeks and weeks to run equations,
\nto make persuasions,
\nto cajole the old-guard into new-peace
\nby reason.<\/p>\n
It takes a careless glance to kill,
\na loving gaze to heal
\nand strong men to gently guide
