\nand hordes still participate
\nin distractions of the Coliseum
\nchoosing sides to feel like winners
\nwhen their side wins and when
\nit loses “wait till next time!”
\nthe handicapped lead the way
\nout of winner or loser to
\nall are winners truly
\nwho participate in healthy
\nsport-like contests like
\nswimming, running, dancing.<\/p>\n
when government crimes are covered up
\nin the name of national security
\nand hordes are led to fear to distract
\nfrom worldwide games of war
\npropagandized into believing
\n“we” are the good guys against “those demons”
\neveryone’s a loser truly as both sides
\nget children blown to bits
\nwhen tribes\/clans\/nations return
\nto loving their children more
\nthan they hate “those demons”
\nWorld Peace we all espouse we wish for
\nbecomes possible.<\/p>\n
when individuals hide their angst
\nwith the actions of “other”
\nin the name of “nothing nice to say say nothing”
\nin fear of losing friend or an explosion
\n(even steel under too much pressure
\nexplodes unexpectedly)
\nit is in the exchange of ideas we find
\nour description of personal space needed
\nand what fences to build
\nwhite picket fences were nice
\n(the Berlin Wall was not)
\npersonal freedom reigned in
\nthe pursuit of happiness.<\/p>\n
America’s glory is not
\nthe “shining light on the hill”
\nit is in the valley of the people
\nwho have struggled to rule themselves
\nlike a new born learning to walk and talk
\nAmerica is learning to walk their talk
\nand the whole world is watching the struggle
\nfor freedom from the ruling class
\n(the Constitution is not carved in stone!
\nit is a living work in progress)
