ok, so “they” inserted, “under God”
\n“they” want us to pledge to a Christian God?
\nand call ourselves a Christian Nation?
\nturn a democracy into a Theocracy?
\nthee o crazy?<\/p>\n
But we are pledging to this Republic and for which it stands!
\nWith liberty and justice for all!!!<\/p>\n
All righty then
\ndescribe this Christian Nation of America.
\nThat’s too vague of a questionnaire.
\nDescribe the current most powerful sect of Christians today.
\nwasn’t that easy: Evangelican
\nAnd what do we get when we get Evangelicals
\nwe know what they expect – to get rapture and on their way
\nthey expect to look down on the rest of us
\nburning in brimstone and hell fire
\nDo they look forward to this sight?<\/p>\n
Yes there other Christians in these, so far, United States
\nthe ones that understand what Jesus meant when he said,
\n“What you do to the least of these you do unto me.”<\/p>\n
So if we pledge allegiance to the land
\nwhy are we polluting it with our toxic waste
\nDo we pledge allegiance to the land because
\nit grows our food and how about the water?
\nWhen we were young we could drink from any flowing stream.
\nWhen we were young there were not so many breathing diseases.<\/p>\n
And if we pledge allegiance to the Republic
\nhow do we protect it?
\nEspecially in these dividing days?<\/p>\n
