\nboth sides have committed wrong doings
\nhave caused deaths of beloved ones
\non BOTH sides
\n60 years of blood and tears where will it end

\nGod knows both sides want peace
\nboth sides are angry
\nWW I caused 10 million death
\nWW II caused 62 million death
\ndo we really want WW III?
\nwhen Israel admits mistakes
\nwhen Palestine admits mistakes
\nyes…we’ve heard
\nPalestine wants to erase Israel off the map
\nand yes, THEY believe
\nIsrael wants to destroy Palestine
\nhow and when will it end?
\n“I’ll stop when you stop!”
\nthat won’t get the trains running
\non time or otherwise
\nIn our mothers eyes are great lakes of tears.
\nIn our fathers eyes are great slices of pain.
\nLakes of tears, slices of pain
\nfill our “enemies” eyes
\nevery much as in our own.
\nThe centuries old dream of world peace
\nis not exclusive to any culture or history.
\nWe have spent centuries rationalizing
\nour OWN righteousness
\nbringing us today with the capicity
\nto destroying this entire planet
\nand all that lives upon it
