Island Dreams

The great blue water and the soft white sand

I can not believe I am on this land

It was always just a dream something too far away

But now I am here - my footsteps show the way

I am from the mountains - that is where I belong

I came - I tried - but now I must go

Back to the mountains where the Green Chiles grow

The War We Chose Not To Fight

I chose not to fight I do not kill it is not right

You can stand tall and straight and I say no I will not go

If they ask you why you say

I would rather be killed than kill

Karma works in mysterious ways

That is why We say We will not kill
