Between Extremes | Poem

   . . A poem a day

EXTREMES

between
lush lovely lavender sunrise full of roses
and lusty music from Brazil
the dance ends

not

heart still leaps to throat long after feet
are silent
having chosen Blue Berry Hill
to get our thrills
creating a figure 8
circle dancing line
all possibilities possible in the realm of love

from where comes the dark of love that kills?
scary to contemplate
creating such extremes
such gods of equal fear & love
especially when money is the "higher" god
all money only representative of slave labor
of course slave traders amass the most money
if they want to buy happiness
they will give it away
