Poetry Offering from Abracad

I don't want to be a hero any more
Don't want to sing about another pointless war
Even though I'm sick of trying
My heart, it lies broke and crying
Don't wanna be a hero any more.

I don't want to be a liar any more
Don't want to settle someone else's score
   Lonely feelings in the night
Told me it was wrong to fight
Don't wanna be a liar any more.

Don't want to be a preacher any more
Don't want my comfort from no scabby whore
Gave my life to truth unspoken
   Only left my dreams unbroken
Don't wanna be a preacher any more.
