A Poem a Day to Millennium 16 September 1999
TWO RITE
That again I see such
reactive miscomprehension
on the part of my fellows
I am drawn to boldly reveal
none but the truth
however real --
One can say anything!
(if it is appropriately:
prefaced
quoted or
footnoted)
One can talk directly
by seeming to be oblique
sing a wider voice
by waxing specific
as "I" means "You"
Speak from empowerment
rather than contrivance
Know when not to write
to leave fully ferment
that which will finally
bite the very edge
And above
all reciprocate!
