i ponder our destiny, silently despairing
 

where is the limit of human arrogance?

when will we realize the abysmal depths

      of our ignorance?
 

while hyperbolic curves now succinctly measure

the rapidly approaching cataclysm,

society totters on the precipice, while

human-lemmings drive themselves even faster,

      desperately plunging into the chasm
