That Wind

Searching for the wind of my thoughts
Winded as they always seem
They never leave me be
Pure as newborn milk
Sifted through a small screen
Relaxed on the ease of these moments
Clothed in shining memories
For only true friends
Spring Beauties in the yard
Another winter gone asleep
Freedom comes with light
Stars in the new skies
Moon shines for all
The wakening summer cries
Footprints in the soil
Another garden of joy
Laughter in the sun
Here we go again
And there goes that wind
