TOWERS
.
neighborhood dogs howling the way they will at births or deaths - you write of your vigil i will keep it with you dear sentient Lenny who more than obviously has paid the piper more than his dues his heavenly angels are with us in this vigil o it is pain to let go of an earth angel i rock myself in my sitting chair remembering the little baby buddha in Lenny's eyes it is good to remember earth time does not exist in heaven where time apart does not exist we are all one and he is one of us o sorrow so near our own birthing day you & i howl often near the edge of praying for our own release we somehow keep on keeping on trading our anger for grief a snatch of joy thru poetry and the knowing of a creative soul a kind soul full of love our Lenny we may not snatch him from his due time but we will hold onto each moment while he remains with us
