Poem: Berlin Wall of Heaven | Poem

BERLIN WALL OF HEAVEN

I have long since
Grown tired of being
A hammer in the hands
Of Gods dismantling
The Berlin Wall of Heaven.
Is it any consolation
That I am far from
Alone in having cause
To feel so battered?
Does it mean anything
That thickening debris
Has dusted my beard
So grey amid so thick
A proliferation of daffodils?
