When It Comes Together | Poem

  Poetry Offerings from Frank Anthony
When It Comes Together
    You Will Know
Shall you come with me
when our hour is yours
is what I heard it say
in my dream last night
A final hour is chosen
everyone known is here
at an end of the earth
Here the soul is judge
I have seen it happens
can you not believe me
put your hand and come
the final hour is here
Souls wait to be known

Over 1000 Killed There
Keeping Algerian Score
Where they slept three
miserable hours a nite
the dreamers of worlds
where sleep is premium
were only allowing two
to interrupt schedules
Then they have gone up
to dig out the hundred
more that are the dead
buried in their rubble
a broken stones bricks
world of dead silences
effective as our bombs

Hold On With Education
   Year In Year Out
You figured in my life
as if there is perfect
out of an imperfection
The vial which I found
round the smooth dream
thrown away shattering
young lives all around
The money or education
we both found right in
this broom swept clean
fit in with and honest
We were all professors
a world about to start
