Dead body will have autopsy Monday

An autopsy is expected to be performed at Wilcox Hospital Monday on a corpse that was found at Ke'e Beach on Kauai's north shore Friday afternoon.A preliminary investigation by detectives indicates foul play was not involved, according to a Kaua'i County Police officer. There were no visible signs of external injuries on the body, he said.
Police dispatch received a call at 12:51 p.m. Friday afternoon from a Kilauea resident who had discovered a male body in a tent under some trees in a remote area by Ke'e Beach.
The corpse - whose identity was not known - appeared to have been dead for some time, according to preliminary reports.
