MEET IN A SANDWICH

 

  press the flesh

  harp the chord

  mind the rafters

  drifters shafters

  press a palm

  pass the alms

  a psalm for the sordid

  a song for the profane

  a picture worth a thousand verbs

  a world of the absurd

  absolutes absinthe and absolution

  a seven per cent solution

  detective dick gumshoe PI

  meet in a sandwich

  and tea with Mussolini
