Presenting The You Tube Poets

Description
We are a group of poets making a TV pilot for a documentary about presenting our poetry on YouTube. We hope to approach a mainstream TV channel with the finished pilot, and may upload a complete documentary after the first few versions have been added here. This channel will be shared with participating poets and those poets who wish to submit work for consideration to be added to the documentary. The poet in the inset photo is Nordette Adams. I am Sara Russell, aka pinkyandrexa, and I will be editing the different versions of The YouTube Poets video until we have a final version that everyone is happy with. Please visit the link below the video to subscribe and send us your on You Tube Poems

The Fear Factor and Covid19. Video Poem by Debashish Haar.

Debashish is a machine learning scientist, who has been published in literary magazines severaltimes across the globe, including Poetry Life & Times, where he was interviewed twice. He is currently contending with a severe writer’s block spanning a decade, when he has hardly produced any publishable content. He is also losing emotional connection with his own work gradually, and spends more time to edit / tighten his old poems than creating any new content.

Editor’s Note: Debashish Haar was interviewed twice in the old Poetry Life and Times, once by Sarah Russell then Editor & later by myself as a new Editor before it folded in 2008. The New Poetry Life & Times restarted in 2013 at Artvilla.com site, Admin David Jackson.

Reducto Anagramatico Sunday Afternoon 1915 Wallace Stevens. Poem Excerpt from Moon Selected Audio Textual Poems by Robin Ouzman Hislop

http://www.aquillrelle.com/authorrobin.htm

reducto anagramatico sunday afternoon 1915 wallace stevens

come give balm to the gusty grieving
nights to hush day green the seas
for her dark oranges bloom an

indifferent inhuman evening
of cherished comfort and wings
like wide complacencies

but next moves in mythy gat motions
among any hind’s heaven or paradise
& cries cause the sun’s littering

our afterwards river sky relinquish
the mountains and whistle in her porch
death still the imperishable inescapable

for receding boughs to wear sleeplessly
the sun colours to hang of sky bosom
serafin plum the perfect rivers the hills

the lay sky paths that live impassioned
upon grass phrases in extended cries over
her peignoir and coffee upon blood calm

The Whale. Leviathan. Video Poem. Sonnet by Norman Ball. Read by Ed Gero

This is a sonnet from my 2001 collection ‘Return to One: A Sonnet Odyssey’, and the section ‘The Whale, the Bull and the Lightbringer’. DC Shakespeare Theatre’s Ed Gero is the reader. I’ve often wondered if Man’s excessive cruelty towards the whale goes beyond mere commerce. Is there something even more fundamental at play, a jealousy perhaps?
(Norman Ball)

Leviathan, what coaxed you back to sea?
Did premonition sour you to the land?
Perhaps you saw the vex of history
and, wisely, chose a watery remand.
Awkward, we Fell; you sank to cooler climes,
your massive girth played foil to Yahweh’s glare.
We battled seas; you swam to rhythmic tides
while sailors scrimshawed biblical despairs.
We’ve harpooned all pretense at gentle neighbor
reserving special violence for your end.
Nor does predation justify these labors.
No, cruelty masks an envious intent:
we fend alone on this terrestrial stage;
no depths too deep to plunge our jealous rage.
